Our stay at Osborne Steading was absolutely delightful. The location is perfect, nestled in beautiful surroundings and offering easy access to the town. The villa itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. The owners were excellent with communication, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. The garden was a lovely bonus, perfect for family getaways. Though there were minor issues like creaky floorboards and a slightly soft mattress, they were far outweighed by all the positives. I highly recommend Osborne Steading for a wonderful stay.

No walk-in shower for older guests.

The bathrooms were amazing, with both a shower and a bath. It felt so luxurious to have options!
I personally didn't enjoy the CD player in the bungalow. But hey, some people might still find it cool!

I always stay at this incredible place in St Andrews. The staff helped me find a lost jewel during my first stay. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, free parking, dryer, TV, fitness center, golf nearby. No regrets.

I absolutely loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The decor was charming, with lovely antique furniture and beautiful paintings on the walls. It made me feel like I was staying in a cozy country cottage. The common areas were also very inviting, with comfortable sofas and armchairs where I could relax and read a book or chat with other guests. I also appreciated that the hotel was designed with senior guests in mind. The hallways and doorways were wide enough for my walker, and there were plenty of handrails in the corridors and stairs for added support. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, I would ask for grab bars to be installed in the bathroom. It would have been helpful for stability and balance, especially when getting in and out of the shower or using the toilet.

What a disappointment! The only positive thing about this place was the location, I guess. It was located on the edge of town, which meant we had to drive or take a taxi everywhere. And let me tell you, the taxi ride wasn't exactly cheap! Talk about wasting money. Another "highlight" of this so-called hotel was the view of open fields. Woopty-doo! Who cares about fields when you're expecting a cozy hotel stay? And the last "pro" I can even think of was that the house was somewhat comfortable. I mean, it wasn't the lap of luxury or anything, but it was decent enough.
Where do I even begin? First off, the creaky floorboards upstairs were absolutely ridiculous.

I recently stayed at Osborne Steading Villa during a transit trip in St Andrews, and I was thoroughly impressed with a few aspects of the accommodation. the location is incredibly convenient. The nearest airport is only 20 km away, making it a breeze for travelers to reach the villa without having to endure a long journey. This proximity to the airport is a major advantage, especially for those who are looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay during their transit.
Although the villa provided a comfortable and well-equipped bathroom, I noticed that it lacked a walk-in shower.

The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to the town of St Andrews. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and fully equipped, making it ideal for any occasion. We particularly enjoyed the lovely garden and the opportunity to indulge in water sports like diving and fishing in the nearby surroundings. It truly was a great place for family bonding and creating unforgettable memories.
For dads, it would be great to have a walk-in shower to ensure the safety of older guests and avoid any worries about falls when stepping into a bath.
